The EIZO RadiForce MX242W medical displays is characterized by a high-quality IPS-LCD with large diagonal and 16:10 format. Thanks to the widescreen format, the 24-inch DICOM preset monitor can display two images or an image with the corresponding diagnosis on one screen. This gives the user a clear overview at a glance. Browsing is unnecessary, which saves time. The factory-set DICOM display characteristic guarantees pure gray tones in radiological images. The monitor thus meets the requirements according to the quality assurance guideline.
Thanks to a high resolution of 2.3 Megapixels (color), a strong contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a stable brightness of up to 350 cd/m2, the monitor offers excellent picture quality. Even the smallest details are displayed in a differentiated way, independent of the viewing angle from which the monitor is viewed. This is a great advantage when more than one physician is viewing the monitor.
Color reproduction is carried out via a 13-bit Look-Up-Table (LUT), of which up to 10 bits can be reproduced with a DisplayPort connection. This provides a resolution of up to 1 billion colors. The display curves and detail structures necessary for diagnosis can therefore be precisely recognized.
EIZO medical monitors measure and precisely adjust every shade of gray, so they are DICOM® compliant ex works, resulting in a particularly consistent range of gray values, providing radiologically clear images.
